Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Serengeti
Your safari begins with a scenic drive or flight from Arusha to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp, where you can relax and enjoy views of the savannah. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, and impalas as the golden sunset illuminates the plains. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay under the African skies.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
After an early breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive with an experienced safari guide. Explore the Serengeti’s vast grasslands and woodlands in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and other iconic species. Pause for a scenic picnic lunch amidst the wildlife, then continue your afternoon drive to capture more incredible animal sightings. Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro
Begin the day with an early morning game drive to experience the Serengeti at sunrise, when wildlife is most active. After a late breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge overlooking the crater rim, where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular views. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge, preparing you for the next day’s crater adventure.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Departure
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to dense wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending back to the rim. After the tour, transfer back to Arusha or your next destination, carrying unforgettable memories of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
